Towering central defender Manny Monthe joined Forest Green in November 2016 from National League South outfit Bath City.
The Cameroonian caught the eye for his performances at Bath a level below the National League which was enough for Mark Cooper to move to add him to his squad.
He began his playing career at QPR but failed to break into the first team at Loftus Road, and after a loan spell at Southport where he made his debut for the Sandgrounders against FGR, he left to join Hayes & Yeading United permanently.
In August 2015 he joined Havant & Waterlooville and also spent a part of the 2015-16 campaign back on loan at Hayes & Yeading.
Having started the next season at Twerton Park with Bath, he produced a number of man of the match performances for the Romans, and he joined FGR a few months later.
