Exeter born Elliott Frear joined Forest Green in June 2014 after leaving Salisbury City for life in Gloucestershire.
The wide man started his career with his hometown club in the Football League - going onto make 11 appearances for the Grecians.
In his time with Exeter he enjoyed a lengthy loan spell at local Devon club Tiverton Town, and also had a season-long loan stint with Salisbury.
When Exeter made the decision to let him go in 2013, he moved to Salisbury permanently, and enjoyed a fantastic season with the Whites.
Their financial troubles forced his departure however, but Salisbury's loss was FGR's gain, and the winger moved to The New Lawn, signing a two-year deal.
He helped Forest Green reach the play-offs in the fifth tier for the first time in his opening season with the club, and in his second campaign enjoyed a superb season that saw him reach the National League play-off final at Wembley.
The Cheltenham based attacker has seven caps to his name for the England C team.
