Charlie Clough's eye-catching performances in a Forest Green Rovers shirt have made him one of the stand out defenders in the National League.
The hard nosed centre back joined the club in January 2015 and went onto help FGR reach the play-offs in the fifth tier for the first time.
He established himself as a first choice pick in the FGR back four under the management of former boss Ady Pennock, and during the 2015-16 campaign formed a strong central defensive partnership with Aarran Racine that helped Forest Green to second place in the National League and a play-off final at Wembley.
Before moving to Nailsworth he was a key man in the set-up at Sutton United. The Gander Green Lane club had plucked him from Dorchester Town where he enjoyed his first permanent spell after leaving Bristol Rovers - where he began his career.
When with the Pirates he spent time on loan at Bath, Newport County, Mangotsfield United and AFC Telford United among others.
