21/02/2010 - Players Movements - Ins and Outs from Rovers
The club confirms today, Sunday 21st February, that Paul Lloyd has left the club by mutual consent. Paul joined Rovers exactly 12 months ago, coming on as a sub at home to Northwich Victoria on the 13th February 2009. He played his part in last year’s team, unfortunately often as a substitute, but made 14 starts, + 17 substitutes and scored 1 goal, that was away at Altrincham in a 5-2 win. The club would like to thanks Paul for his efforts and wishes him well in his future career.
As a consequence of that move, the club can confirm that they are currently in negotiation with another Blue Square Premier club to bring in an experienced centre half on loan. It is hoped the details can be completed in time for the player to join the squad as they travel to North Yorkshire on Friday ahead of Saturdays visit to Gateshead and the International Stadium.
