28/03/2008 - Stuart Fleetwood banned for 3 games

Forest Green Rovers striker Stuart Fleetwood has been issued with a three match ban by the FA, after losing his appeal against the red card issued during the Torquay United match on Easter Monday.

Fleetwood was dismissed for "violent conduct" for "striking an opponent by slapping across the face". Following the unsuccessful appeal, Fleetwood will now miss Rovers' games against Burton Albion (home, Monday 31st March), Halifax Town (away, Saturday 5th April) and Northwich Victoria (away, Tuesday 8th April).
