A trip to Aldershot on Tuesday evening will hopefully reignite Forest Green’s Conference Premier campaign after the recent bad weather has led to three weeks of postponements (7:45pm).
Four consecutive cancellations have dislodged the momentum manager Ady Pennock’s side were building last month. But with plenty of games to make up on, the squad will be eager to get things going again ahead of what looks to be an exciting final few months of the campaign.
Forest Green Rovers postponed fixture away to Woking has been rearranged for Tuesday 1st April (7.45pm).
After the original game on Saturday 1st February was washed out, the rearranged fixture was earmarked by Woking to be played on Tuesday 4th March but with that week set aside for international matches (including England C in Jordan) the match will instead be played on 1st April.
With yet another Rovers trip succumbing to the bad weather at the weekend, supporters will have their fingers crossed Tuesday’s visit to Aldershot will go ahead, and the Supporters Club are taking bookings on the fans coach going to the game.
