Forest Green Rovers groundsman Stewart Ward has been shortlisted for the Football Conference’s Groundsman of the Year award for the second year running.

Ward – one of only five groundsmen up for the big prize – finishedthird in last year’s awards and is the only shortlisted groundsman from 2012 to be shortlisted again in 2013.

After discussions with Ebbsfleet United and careful consideration by the hosts, they have decided to move the Blue Square Bet Premier fixture back to the original date of Saturday 30th March (kick-off 3.00pm).

Forest Green’s easter weekend league fixture at  Stonebridge Road had been moved to Good Friday 29^th March at 3.00pm.
