Forest Green Rovers U9's returned victorious from the Brockworth Six-a-Side Tournament on Sunday 6th June. Despite being without their regular goalie, Rovers put on a fine performance. In the initial group stage they managed three wins and a draw to top the table and progress to the Semi finals where they beat Cheltenham Saracens 3 - 1.
The final was against home team Brockworth Albion and after going close several times in the first half, Rovers scored early in the second with a header from Blaine Graham. Once in front Rovers maintained there focus to secure the 1 - 0 victory and take home the Millennium Trophy.
