Ladies Team

Forest Green Rovers Ladies Football Club was formed at the commencement of season (2002-2003). Currently the leading female club in the community, Forest Green Rovers Ladies Football Club changed their name from Chalford Ladies FC. Their squad includes County representatives, ex-English University players and South West Premier League players.

In their first season as Forest Green Rovers Ladies the team was very successful, winning the South West Women's Football League and with it the Pat Sowden Trophy. Season 2008-2009 the Ladies finally won the Gloucestershire County Cup after being runners up for many years.

The ladies have now been playing in the South West Combination League for six years, which is a feeder league to the South West Women's Premier League.

The Ladies have been successful in the league but are still trying to push for promotion in the 2010/2011 season. They train every Thursday evening at Hartpury college from 8.00 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. If you are interested in joining please contact cecooney@hotmail.co.uk.
