Matthew Bulman

Goalkeeper

Former Cirencester Town goalkeeper Matt Bulman joined Forest Green on a two-year contract in the summer of 2011 before penning an extension until June 2014.

The former Swindon Town and Salisbury City keeper made the switch to full-time football at the New Lawn after a fine season for the Centurions in 2010-11 earned him Player of the Year.

His one and only senior appearance at Swindon Town was a memorable one, coming on for injured colleague Jason Lee in an FA Cup tie against Boston United in November 2005, with his first touch being a penalty save.

Away from football, Bully reveals a side of his character this year which does not square with his dressing room joker tag – a proud born-again Christian.
