Jared Hodgkiss is currently the longest serving member of Forest Green’s squad and made his 100th league appearance for the club on the final day of the 2011-12 season after playing in every minute of every league game for the first team.
Originally joining the club in October 2009, the right fullback came through the ranks at West Bromich Albion and made his debut in the Baggies first team in an FA Cup third round tie against Reading in January 2006, before going on to make his Premier League debut as a 63rd minute substitute at Goodison Park against Everton later that season.
After signing an extended contract at the Hawthorns, Jared made his full league debut the following season against Leicester City and was made reserve team skipper at the club.
He spent time on loan at Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen and at Northampton Town in the Football League but was released by West Brom at the end of the 2008-09 season.
Jared arrived at The New Lawn as one of manager Dave Hockaday’s first signings and he has gone on to earn the plaudits of Rovers supporters with his consistent performances.
