Despite still being in only his early twenties, versatile defender, Eddie Oshodi, has over 100 league appearances to his name for the club.
The England C international has also turned out at Championship level for Watford and has had loan spells with two other sides.
Born in London, Oshodi featured in the England youth set-ups for both the national under 16 and under 17 sides. He played alongside Jack Wilshere and Jonjo Shelvey at the 2009 UEFA European U17 Championship Finals in Germany.
He made his first team debut for Watford in a Championship loss against Coventry City and earned a place several times on the bench for the Hornets in first team fixtures.
Two loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge and Rushden & Diamonds gave him important game time experience. He scored his first senior goal for Rushden in a 2-0 victory over Eastbourne Borough.
He was let go by Watford at the end of the 2010-11 campaign and he subsequently arrived at The New Lawn on a two-year deal.
Oshodi made an instant impact and when he was just 20 was handed the captain’s armband for a while at the club.
He made his England C debut against an Italy Lega Pro team and scored his first Rovers goal on 4 September 2012 in a 4-1 thrashing of Ebbsfleet United.
