Lady Magpie has been associated with Forest Green Rovers for some 30+ years in both a voluntary and employed role. She took over production fo the Matchday programme in the 80's, writing the articles, printing and stapling the programme together.

By the early 90’s, when Trevor Horsley started to turn the clubs fortunes round, she took the role of Club Press Officer, including a season doing live summaries on BBC Radio Gloucester. This was also the time when she became well known for her Forest Green Rovers match reports in the Stroud News & Journal, the Gloucester Citizen and the Western Daily Press.

For the past 18 years she has kept a complete record of all that has happened on and off the pitch, match details, players records, in fact hundreds of Stats, Facts and Figures are available to the fans and supporters. Other records have been researched from Forest Green Rovers past and recorded making her an adequate Clubs Statistician.

Retirement has now given her more time to contribute to the website and all those stats, so if you have a club question then Ask Lady Magpie, if she doesn’t know the answer straight away she will know where to find it.

There have been various problems with getting the provider to set it up, this included the change in VAT on all the items. It is almost ready and being tested at this moment. Watch this space.

Hi LM I appreciate how busy you are .... but I asked two questions what seems to have been ages ago ,, regarding the photograph of the Green Man Pub in the programmes , and the other about matchday photos on this website ...... how often do you look at these questions ? .. would it be easier to ask them on the question and answer bit on the forum ?

Unfortunately I have no control over the photo's on the website, you need to ask the administration office the question on 01453 - 834860. They put the photo's on.
